About Eric Blanchet

Born in Marseille in 1976 Eric Blanchet is curious by nature and loves to create since he was very young. His preference leans towards art and has a very particular passion for drawing, but also painting, air brush and water colour. He is self taught and develops his gift through documentation, in learning through books and other specialized magazines. He seeks to make progress as much in colour painting as in the perspectives…
It wasn’t until 2016 that he walked through the doors of a classroom for the first time in order to learn crayon art. Through the encouragements of his teacher, Eric finds confidence in his art and finally finds the « audacity » to exhibit his work for the first time in 40 years.
During his second exhibition he earns the village mayor’s prize and the jury’s prize for his work with ink on « le visage » and he also earns the prize for best artist for his work on the dry pastel drawing of « les-quatre-saisons »
